The Transgender Movement Is A Fairy Tale Destroying Our Children’s Lives

Transgender Movement Is A Fairy Tale Destroying Our Children’s LivesEvery few weeks, the transgender movement parades another person in front of the cameras for their cause.  A few weeks ago, Bradley “Chelsea” Manning had his 15 minutes of fame when pardoned by Obama.  Before that, 9-year-old “Joe” succeeded in reversing the Boy Scouts’100-year-old gender qualification.  Last weekend, we met “Mack” Beggs.

The LGBT community demands we accept people, especially children, not for who they are, but who they believe they are.  We are told to ignore science and transform every part of society to cater to a few people.  Yet, is this really good for the children?  Are we really helping them, or selling them a fairy tale?

Surgeons can remove and attach body parts.  Hairdressers can restyle hair.

People can change whether or not they shave their legs.  Doctors can pump billions of hormones into a body.  All this alters how one looks.  Yet, there is one thing you can never, ever change. DNA.

Through science, we know DNA determines gender at fertilization.  In addition, DNA cannot be altered.  So, no matter what you do to yourself, your DNA will always tell the truth of whether you are a boy or a girl.

Usually the transgender poster children just identify as the opposite sex. Beggs is in the process of transitioning.  Her story hit the news because of her wrestling career.  To her credit, she wanted to wrestle boys in the championships. Yet the rules forced her to wrestle under the gender on her birth certificate.  However, she takes steroids as part of her transition, giving her an unfair advantage in the girl’s competition.

As expected, Beggs won the championship, partially due to several competitors forfeiting out of concern for injury. This forced people to decide if it was fair for this “boy” to be wrestling girls.  Advocates who usually insist there is no difference between males and females, actually admitted there is, in fact, differences between the genders.

Hormones gave Beggs muscles, but her body frame will always be that of a female.  She can alter her physical appearance, but she will never be able to naturally produce sperm.  Likewise, men who believe they are women will never be able to give birth or nurse. These are scientific gender-specific attributes, plain and simple.  Plus, to remain their new gender, they must take hormones for the rest of their lives or their bodies will return to their natural gender, minus surgical changes. No fairy godmother waves a wand, turning the frog into a princess or Cinderella into a prince.  It’s all artificial.

I know the parents love their children. They believe they are doing the best for them. However, it borders on child abuse. We are encouraging our children to dismiss truth and facts and embrace feelings and fantasies.

The LGBT community downplays the fact 40% of transgenders attempt suicide.

They partially blame bullying. However, millions of kids are bullied every day without the high suicide attempt rate.

Between 60-90% of transgenders have some sort of mental illness, including epression.  Liberals argue their psychological issues stem from unhappiness with their current body.  However, 20% of transgenders who have sex-change surgery regret it. Also, studies show 90% of transgenders retain their mental issue post surgery which is when many attempt suicide.  Therefore, logic dictates transgenderism is a symptom of mental health, not the other way around.

Thanks to Obamacare, children can stay on their parents’ insurance until they are 26.  They can’t drink until they are 21.  They can’t vote until they are 18.  Yet, somehow, they have the capacity to make a life changing decision about their gender, sometimes as young as age 4?

Beggs, now 17-years-old, began transitioning into a male in 2015. So, she started this process at age 15. Beggs was still too young to drive but old enough to start mutilating her body?

I was a tomboy growing up.  I didn’t like wearing dresses much, even to church.  My best friend for years was the boy next door.  I could have easily convinced myself that I really should have been a boy.  Especially if my parents would have supported it since I was their last chance for one.

Instead, they encouraged music and art. They bought me Legos to foster creativity.  My mom showed me how to cook and sew.  My dad spent time with me passing a baseball and frisbee.  He even helped me build things in his workshop.  But most importantly, every Sunday they took me to church where I was reminded I was specifically created and loved by God.

We are our children’s greatest influence.  What we accept, what we encourage, what we applaud is often transferred to our children.  So I ask, why is there such an explosion now of transgender and homosexual children?

Author and activist Walt Heyer had gender reassignment surgery decades ago.  He later regretted the surgery, eventually re-identifying as a male.  As a former transgender, he believes, “children cannot be born as one gender and identify as another by accident.”

Commenting on a documentary about transgenders, he told The Daily Caller:

“There’s a lot of questions here. Kids are not born transgender. Childhood developmental disorder that comes out of some event or series of events or abuse or neglect or trauma or overbearing mother or father or someone or a lot of times its sexual abuse.”

The documentary featured a little boy, who identified as a girl.  The child asked his mother “if she would still love him if he was still a boy.”  Heyer remarked:

“The reason I jumped off the couch is because that’s what happened to me. My grandmother kept cross-dressing me and loving on me as a girl and not as the boy God made.”

Children in homes where parents obsess with the LGBT agenda, praising transgenders for their courage, are they unconsciously planting seeds into their children’s minds on what is acceptable?  Are the children just trying to get their parents’ attention?  Maybe they are trying to stand out and get their 15 minutes in the spotlight just to be noticed.

Liberals demean Christians, calling them science deniers who believe in a book of mythology.  Yet who is disregarding DNA?  Who is really pushing the folklore here?

Science, which agrees with the Bible, discovers more evidence each day that we do not start as an expendable blob.  So let’s stop telling children the fable that they do.

Transgenders, like all of us, just want worth and value. Unfortunately, they think they can find it in a different body.

When we embrace a person’s transgenderism, we are not validating their identity.  We are actually validating their insecurities about their natural self by preferring an alternate personality.

Instead, teach them the scientific truth. From conception, they have been a precious, valuable human being. As a result, they might realize the body they were born with may be awkward and embarrassing, but it is theirs. It was formed by God, loved by God, and it is exactly who they were meant to be.  Maybe then they will stop trying so hard to be someone else.

But that’s just my 2 cents.

  1. The majority of suicide attempts in transgender individuals occur before they reach the decision to alter their gender
