Now that Gay Day June 26th has come to pass, and Barack Obama had the White House flooded in the colors of the gay rainbow. One day after the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage equality and two days after its ruling on the Affordable Care Act, one thing is certain. Obama promised Hope & Change How’s that working out for ya?
Meanwhile back at the ranch in NC the witch-hunt continues against Confederate flags, statues, paintings and even stained glass windows.
For those of you who feel it’s time for a new revolution, ask yourself if you are willing to risk and sacrifice as our founding fathers did. Ask yourself if you’re really willing to fight for the country you want, even in the face of an uncertain outcome. I suspect very few can answer with an honest “Yes.” It’s easier just to post your outrage to Facebook or some other social media
Our government (all branches) of, by and for the people has lost control and has led us down a very destructive path of tyranny, corruption, cover-ups and deceit. We have to a degree lost the necessary checks and balances designed to provide an essential balance of power. That has led to a far-reaching federal government and an infringement on states’ rights. We must save the Republic and the country before we get to the point of no return. A National Call to Action is required by all of us to get our country on track!
We no longer have any form of representative government in this country. The ones in office will never put their political careers on the line in order to do what should be done on behalf of their constituents. It does not matter if they are Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, or Independent, they are all corrupt.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” – Samuel Adams, speech at the Philadelphia State House, August 1, 1776.
For those of you who think we still live in a free Constitutional Republic where the will of the people guide the rule of government, it is time you wake up and realize that America is long gone and doesn’t exist anymore. Keep your heads stuck in the sand and live your complacent easy lives until all our God given rights are lost.
An unintended consequence is that this is EXACTLY what started the first civil war and will probably start the next. No I don’t mean gays marrying, who cares, they will be judged later. I mean the federal government overstepping their bounds and treading on states’ rights. The federal government has basically said we don’t care what your voters think and what your laws say, you have to do this. It’s illegal and its exactly what they did that sparked the Civil War. I might not like what the confederate flag has come to symbolize with some people but I’m thinking we may not have seen the last of that battle flag.
